Job Title: ReactJS developer

Work Location Remote (Canada)

Job Description:

To be successful in this role you must be a quick learner, have proven software development skills, enjoy solving hard problems, enjoy data and metrics-driven optimizations, and work well in small cross-functional teams. You will need to prioritize tasks, exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • 5+ years of practical development experience in web UI development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Experience with React JS preferred but will also consider Angular or Vue JS skills
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and general services-oriented architectures
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with common front-end development tools
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • You know about TDD, continuous delivery, and automated testing
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Design, develop and deploy applications in an agile scrum model with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability
  • CI/CD and working collaboratively with DevOps teams to deploy applications in a high velocity environment
